Soil Health Bus Tour

Join Coalition mentors and members for a three-day trip to tour Green Cover Seed and Regen Ag Labs in Nebraska & Iowa.
| Green Cover Seed grows high-quality cover crop seeds and aims to provide farmers with custom seed mixes and educational content. We will visit their cover crop plots, and hear from the Green Cover Seed Team as they’ve experimented with over 120 different cover crop types and hundreds of mixes planted for every situation. Regen Ag Lab conducts soil tests, including the Haney test. They also provide water and plant analyses. Lance Gunderson, who’s reviewed over 75,000 samples and analyzed them for Haney and PLFA, will lead the tour. Midwest Soil Restore has a mission to jumpstart your soil health journey by providing premium Johnson-Su compost to repopulate the microbiological community in your soil. They promote the use of open source, accessible technologies that restore microbial/plant partnerships. Learn about the biological processes that maximize plant and soil health. |
