Located in Princeton, MN my soil health journey started in 2022. I strip-till my corn and soybeans, and no-till cover crops to reduce soil disturbance. I became MN Ag Water Quality Certified in 2023.
When I realized I could do better with my farm, and the resources available to me. I’ve noticed water from the stream is clear in the spring, and my soil structure is different from when I began. Finally, I’ve noticed fuel consumption is lower than it’s been.
I’ve always had a teaching mindset. I want to help people do better and be better. Ive learned lessons the hard way, so I’d like to be a resource to make things easier, and help people avoid mistakes.
