A Regenerative Transition – Food Systems And The Soil Food Web

October 19, 2023 @ 9:00 am 11:00 am

We’re going live on Thursday, October 19 at 9am with Webinar 1: Regenerative Vision: Soil Life & Global Communities.

In this webinar, Dr. Adam Cobb will synthesize information from soil microbiology and agroecology, complementing our understanding of the benefits of the soil food web by explaining how the microbial communities in our soils will support transformative changes in agriculture and our food systems. We will find out how a global community of farmers and citizen scientists are achieving a new vision for land and biological soil management.

Adam’s presentation serves as the cornerstone for our upcoming webinar series about transitioning dirt to living soil. It not only highlights the crucial role of restoring degraded land but also delves into the rapidly expanding networks of positive change and regeneration in the world of soil and agriculture.

Also joining us in the webinar will be Soil Food Web School (SFWS) Lead Scientist, Researcher, and Instructor, Dr. Carla Portugal; SFWS Trainer of Mentors and Instuctors, Loida Vasquez; and SFW Consultant, Brian Vagg.

The SFWS firmly believes that by training passionate individuals in the principles and tools of soil regeneration, we can revolutionize soil management in all corners of the world and within every type of food system.

Key Takeaways:

  • Insights into soil agroecology and diverse food systems
  • How a global community of farmers and citizen scientists is redefining soil management
  • Strategies for transitioning from degraded land to vibrant ecosystems
  • The power of positive change and regeneration in the world of soil
